Founded in 1985, Cloudy Bay started out with producing Sauvignon Blanc and ultimately, put New Zealand on the map. Now owned by luxury goods company, LVMH, Cloudy Bay is considered to be one of the benchmark producers of Sauvignon Blanc. They are very selective in choosing the right grapes to ensure the best quality. Most of their production is Sauvignon Blanc, but they also bottle Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The Henri Bourgeois family has been based in the village of Chavignol for ten generations, and their 2022 La Cote Des Monts Damnes is a great example of delivering the depth Sancerre can attain with a broad spectrum of aromas and flavors, along with textbook chalky sea shell texture.
